About WTSA

This association was founded to provide organization and camaraderie to teachers who coach speaking and acting events in the area.  Meetings are held once a year on the Saturday prior to the Labor Day weekend for instructional sessions and to set the competition calendar for the year

2007 Meeting

Our 2007 annual meeting was held on Saturday, August 25, 2007. If you missed the meeting, but would still like to be a member, you can send your dues and we'll add you to the list. Send $20 to WTSA c/o Brent Hinkle. Mailing information is available on the contact page.

2008 Meeting

Date: August 23, 2008
Location: Caprock High School

Our next meeting will be held on August 23 in Amarillo at Caprock High School. Additional information will be posted here as details are made available this summer.

Scholarship

Congratulations to Deirdre Johnston of Friona, TX, Lauren Garcia of Amarillo, TX and Christian Haile of Friona, TX. They are winners of the 2008 Noyce Burleson Memorial Scholarships.
